The BMC FM01072 sport air filter is a regenerable cotton panel filter designed to directly replace the factory filter, fitting perfectly into the original airbox to optimize intake.

• Increased Airflow: The special multi-layer cotton weave allows for 18.5% more airflow compared to traditional paper filters installed as standard. This significantly reduces pressure drop losses, providing a constant supply of oxygen that improves engine combustion efficiency and makes throttle response more immediate.
• 7 Micron Filtration Efficiency: By utilizing the combination of different oiled layers, the filter blocks and retains microscopic impurities down to a minimum of 7 microns (with a standard efficiency of 97.5% according to international ISO 5011 standards), safeguarding the engine's integrity from foreign bodies.
• Structural Dimensions: Outer base diameter of 97 mm, inner base diameter of 145 mm, and a total height of 102 mm.
• Full Moulding Engineering: The characteristic red rubber frame is produced through continuous molding in a single block. This eliminates glued joints along the corners, removing structural weak points and preventing risks of cracks caused by strong vibrations.
• Advanced Protective Barrier: The four layers of natural cotton are soaked in a special low-viscosity fluid oil and enclosed between two light alloy meshes.
