The BMC FM01085 sport air filter is a reusable cotton filter element designed to directly replace the factory filter, fitting perfectly into the original airbox to optimize intake.

• Increased Airflow: The multi-layer cotton fabric ensures an increase in air passage of up to 40% compared to traditional paper filter elements mounted as standard. This reduces pressure drop losses, ensuring a constant oxygen supply that improves engine combustion efficiency and makes throttle response more immediate.
• 7 Micron Filtration Efficiency: By utilizing the combination of various oiled layers, the filter blocks and retains microscopic impurities down to a minimum of 7 microns (with a standard efficiency of 97.5% according to international ISO 5011 standards), safeguarding the engine's integrity from foreign bodies.
• Structural Dimensions: Overall external width of 110 mm, internal diameter of 96 mm, and a total height of 131 mm.
• Full Moulding Engineering: The characteristic frame is produced through continuous molding in a single block of red polyurethane rubber. This eliminates glued joints along the corners, removing structural weak points and preventing risks of cracks caused by strong vibrations.
• Advanced Protective Barrier: The four layers of natural cotton are impregnated with a special low-viscosity fluid oil and enclosed between two light alloy meshes. The meshes undergo an epoxy coating that isolates the component from moisture corrosion and contact with gasoline vapors returning from the intake.
• Plug & Play Installation: The filter is distributed pre-oiled and ready for installation. It works perfectly independently and does not require modifications to the airbox or remapping of the motorcycle's electronic control unit.
