The bag can also be used externally by hooking it with the elastic bands supplied on the luggage rack or saddle.

I recently purchased the 42 Lt top box to go with my 38 Lt Trekker Outback side cases. As I also purchased the liner bag for the top box I decided to spring for the liners for the side cases, and am I ever glad that I did. Each bag comes with a well designed shoulder strap and two high quality bungie cords that can be used to fasten the bag to the outer top of the side case for even more waterproof storage. The bags will help my wife determine how much she can bring and allow us to take our stuff into a hotel without removing the cases from the motorcycle. I can say that after a ride with some of my friends, one of them had the givi trekker outback with this waterproof bag in each of the side cases and boy it poored rain heavily, ok probably not a storm but a heavy rain fall after a lot of sunny days ! We were doubting the waterproof feature of them bags excpet the owner of course and at our mid-day break we checked inside and there was nothing wet! So I would definitely recommend them ! I have the Trekker Outback panniers and have the waterproof bags with them. Yes the bags don't let water in but in reality, I'm not sure they do because the panniers don't leak at all. But what I do know is that the bags are very handy for travel. You just simply remove the bags from the boxes and leave the heavier, bulkier panniers right on the bike. A waterproof bag is very useful to keep things dry and above all to ensure good condition for electronic devices such as computers, tablets ect. Easy to apply, robust and certainly with optimum durability. versatile, and can be mounted externally on the bags which in my case probably should not be. Going camping with your motorcycle can be described as absolute freedom. However, when you arrive at your destination and your gear turns out to be wet even before you can use it, can be a massive disapointment. But the T506 waterproof bag from Givi puts an end to this problem! No more wet stuff and very easy to use.
