Adapter that allows emitting a 12v high beam signal. To install it, simply connect the white and blue ends to the color-coded DENALI wiring and then connect the white and black cables to the vehicle's high beams and power cables, respectively. How to know if you need an accessory with ground switching? Ground switching is a common configuration for LED headlight circuits and simply means that the switch is on the ground side of the headlight circuit rather than on the power side of the circuit. To know what type of switching your vehicle has, use a voltmeter to measure the voltage on the headlight high beam wire while turning the high beam switch on/off. Traditional power-side switched high beam circuits will show 0 volts when the high beams are off and 12+ volts when the high beams are on. Ground-switched high beam circuits do exactly the opposite, where the wire will measure 12+ volts when the high beams are off and drop below 1 volt when the high beams are on. Connecting the Trigger Wizard inline between the DENALI wiring and the ground-switched headlight circuit will flip the signal to correctly activate dimming functions. This adapter is compatible with all DENALI DataDim driving light wiring and the DialDim lighting controller.
