This adapter provides plug-and-play access to the accessory power circuit on the Ducati DesertX.
The power adapter connects to the factory accessory power port of the DUCATI DESERT X and provides a switched 12V power source.
The plug-&-play connection allows you not to touch, drill, cut, or solder any original wires.
The accessory power port is connected with the ignition, so it will provide power when the bike is on and, likewise, turn off when the bike is not in use.
Instructions: A small 2-pin JWPF connector is located under the DesertX windshield right next to the headlight connector. Simply remove the factory dummy plug and connect this adapter to create a clean 12V accessory trigger wire that will turn on/off with the vehicle ignition.
Use this adapter to connect the trigger wire from the DENALI driving light harness or to power DRLs and other accessories that require switched power.
