Due to emission and noise control regulations, secondary throttle valves have appeared in motorcycles over the last decade. This secondary throttle is controlled by the bike's ECU. For maximum performance and sharp throttle response, this secondary system is removed, mainly in road racing. However, as soon as you disconnect the secondary throttle valve actuator motor from the bike's main wiring, the FI light will turn on on the dashboard, as the ECU detects the problem with the actuator. The STV eliminator plugs directly into the main wiring, acting as if it were the actuator. With the help of this small unit, it is possible to remove the entire secondary valve assembly with the actuator motor, throttle valve plates, and the rod/shaft itself. Do the job correctly with this simple solution!

Note: It is recommended to have the engine's AFR (air-fuel ratio) checked by a test center. An adjustment may be necessary. This product is intended for race use only!

Fast and easy to use
Simply disconnect the actuator motor from the main wiring. Connect the STV Eliminator and the unit will work when the actuator motor is still in place. No splicing or soldering is required and the bike's wiring remains intact. It can't get any simpler than this!

Low-cost alternative
If the actuator motor fails (a frequent issue on some bike models) it is much cheaper to replace it with the STVE than a new motor.
