Aerodynamic properties and grip Numerous track and wind tunnel tests have shown that at over 180 kph, brake and clutch levers are subject to wind force capable of generating a pressure of 0.7-0.8 bar in the hydraulic circuit. This unintentional, continuous actuation, wears the brake pads and causes the clutch disk to slip, thus overheating the systems as well as reducing their efficiency. Wind tunnel designed, the RIZOMA lever is conceived to reduce the wind force effect even at very high speeds. The cavity at its end channels the air flow away from the lever, thus reducing the pressure effect to zero. Its exclusive surface finish, the unmistakable signature of RIZOMA, gives outstanding grip. Articulated joint and adjustment Machined from aluminium billet for exceptional robustness and long service life, our levers have a wide range of adjustments and run on bronze bushings with special return springs for precise operation and reliability. The joint allows the lever to fold back in falls to prevent breakage.
