Product information
The Zard Racing Full Kit Exhaust (Code: ZYH002S00SSR) is a complete, non-homologated exhaust system custom-designed for the Yamaha XSR 900 GP and XSR 900 (models 2024-2026). Handcrafted in Italy by [Officine Italiane Zard](1.1.1, 1.1.4), this kit combines a retro look inspired by old 2-stroke racing bikes with modern technology to enhance the capabilities of Yamaha's CP3 three-cylinder engine.
Specifications and Performance
• Power Increase: Maximum guaranteed increase of +6 HP compared to the stock system.
• Weight Reduction: The Zard kit weighs only 4.8 kg, offering a net saving of -2.5 kg compared to the original exhaust.
• Materials: The decatalyzed headers are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, while the silencers feature a refined black finish.
• Retro Design: Features asymmetrical outlets with MotoGP-style protective grilles that celebrate Yamaha's glorious Heritage history.
Compatibility and Mounting Notes
• Models: Perfectly compatible with both the Yamaha XSR 900 GP and the standard version.
• Motorcycle Structure: The installation is fully integrated and preserves the use of the original fairings and passenger footpegs.
• Lambda Sensors (Euro 5 / Euro 5+): The exhaust includes housings prepared for both Euro 5 models (1 sensor) and the latest Euro 5+ models (2 sensors).
• Electronics (Engine Light): Removing the original catalyst may cause the ECU of Euro 5+ models to detect an anomaly and turn on the light. To solve the issue and optimize delivery, Zard separately offers a dedicated UpMap ECU with preloaded mapping.
This exhaust system can be mounted exclusively on the following Yamaha models:
• Yamaha XSR 900 (Models from 2024 to 2026)
• Yamaha XSR 900 GP (Models from 2024 to 2026)
