The Z-Racing range has been developed to offer greater aerodynamic efficiency compared to the original windshields of each motorcycle. The design is analyzed using a virtual wind tunnel with the aim of optimizing the aerodynamic coefficient (Cx) and reducing air pressure on the rider.
Thanks to the double-height design, the windshield deflects the airflow that would otherwise hit directly on the helmet and the upper torso. Additionally, the two side channels collect and channel the air outward, helping to reduce pressure on the rider's shoulders. Compared to the original windshield, Z-Racing windshields offer an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% in an upright position and up to 61% in a racing riding position.
Designed and manufactured in Barcelona using advanced technologies, they are made of high-impact acrylic with a thickness of 3 mm, resulting in a resistant, lightweight, and durable component. The rounded edge of over 2 mm meets the safety requirements established by the German TÜV.
During the production process, Puig uses an artificial vision system for quality control, ensuring that each windshield reaches the customer in perfect condition.
Z-Racing windshields are available in a wide variety of colors, allowing the motorcycle's aesthetics to be customized according to each user's preferences.
Installation is simple and does not require additional elements such as trim. Each windshield is accompanied by a detailed aerodynamic study, showing the improvements achieved compared to the original configuration.
