Bitubo XXZB rear shock absorber specifically designed for BMW S 1000 RR motorcycles (model years 2019-2024). It is a high-performance component derived from racing, designed to enhance riding precision and stability.
Technologically advanced, featuring a completely renewed design with many technical innovations, such as the 4 adjustments: low and high-speed compression and rebound, with new settings designed to provide the rider with the best possible feel.
Internally, it is renewed with technical solutions that optimize the smoothness of moving parts, improve the damping coefficient, and increase stability at high temperatures, while utilizing lightweight materials to reduce overall weight. The Ø14mm rod increases smoothness while the Ø30mm piston reduces the fluid masses in motion for a faster response to stresses, with particular attention dedicated to maximizing the sensitivity and precision of adjustments. XXZ is designed to reduce inertia and ensure immediate control of suspension oscillations.
The GOAL is to provide the rider with unprecedented riding precision and increased grip, as well as uniform tire wear thanks to the instant control of the forces at play. This offers the rider maximum support in curves even at extreme lean angles, quick direction changes, maximum confidence in throttle opening on all types of tracks, and perfect rear stability even in the most violent braking.
