Created for improved performance and enhanced sound silencing, which mitigates the impact on the environment, whilst delivering a deep, full sound. A special profiled surface on the muffler adds strength and durability and is finished with an engraved logo.
Power and torque increases of 1.4kW (1.9hp) at 7,600rpm and 4.5Nm at 2,300rpm. These figures were obtained in back-to-back runs on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW R 1300 GS using a standard stock exhaust. EC/ECE-type approval, simple plug and play installation with no remapping required.
Once installed the system is all fully compatible with BMW Motorrad's side cases.

This is a stunning looking Exhaust for the R1300GS, This matches almost perfectly the matt black frame components it appears to be a stock part. Gets rid of the very shiny and plain looking stock muffler. The sound quality is only slightly better than the stock however, and looking through it i don't believe offers much in terms of lifting restrictions from stock version so doubtful about the performance gains. Biggest benefits over stock is the appearance and the weight savings just under 3 pounds lighter than stock. The most noticeable sound difference is on the downshifts gives a nice burble sound as compared to stock.
