Product information
The BMC FM01124 sport air filter is a high-performance, regenerable cotton component designed to directly replace the original filter element.
Performance and Technical Features
The component is developed to optimize the delivery of the three-cylinder engine, ensuring superior airflow and excellent protection:
• Increased airflow: allows for over 40% more air intake compared to traditional OEM paper filters.
• Certified filtering capacity: thanks to the combination of multiple layers of cotton soaked in low-viscosity oil, it blocks impurities down to a minimum of 7 microns, with an efficiency of 97.5% according to international ISO 5011 standards.
• Improved engine response: the reduction of pneumatic load loss makes the intake smoother, improving the engine's sprint and delivery readiness.
• No electronic modification: the filter is designed to work perfectly with factory parameters, eliminating the need to remap the ECU or re-tune the motorcycle.
• 'Full Moulding' structure: the characteristic red frame is made from a single mold without welded joints at the corners, eliminating the possibility of structural breaks and unfiltered air infiltration.
• Regenerable over time: the alloy metal mesh with epoxy treatment protects the cotton from gasoline vapors and oxidation, allowing the filter to be washed and reused for the entire life of the motorcycle.
Compatible Motorcycles and Year of Production
The BMC FM01124 air filter fits the following Triumph motorcycle models:
Triumph Trident 660: produced from the year 2021 onwards
Triumph Tiger Sport 660: produced from the year 2022 onwards
