Product information

Founded more than 70 years ago JBL has been a magnet for audiophiles of every generation. Compatible with Packtalk and Freecom series and with any motorcycle headset equipped with 3,5 mm audio jack. Over months, JBL acousticians, mechanical experts and software engineers have modified and optimized all audio elements of Cardo's intercom systems to deliver a whole new 45 mm set of the best sound ever in a motorcycle communication system.
Achieving good audio quality inside a motorcycle helmet is demanding. The wind, the road, the engine and the type of helmet, all affect the frequencies you hear. With that in mind, these 45 mm speakers combine the sound only a large diameter driver can provide, with a narrow, 42 mm base that can fit almost every modern helmet.
With a standard 3.5mm jack, these speakers fit practically any communicator on the market, no matter what brand. Owners of Cardo FREECOM and PACKTALK series will enjoy extra boost with new JBL sound processor and firmware. Not a FREECOM or PACKTALK owner? No worries: this powerful hardware will still drive your headset audio performance to new heights.

45mm audio set.

Best Speakers Yet!
5/5

the biggest shortcoming of motorcycle comments units has always been sound quality. put the JBL speaker set with a cardo slim talk (of course in a good quiet helmet) and the experience is awesome! what it is not: * Bose Quiet Comfort noise canceling headphones What it is: * likely the best in-helmet audio system available. * very good bass, clean treble, same midrange as others. * improved volume without being "screechy"

All and all, a very nice set of speakers!
5/5

I bought a pair of these "speakers" around 2 months ago, the first impressions of them were very good. They seemed like a good, quality speaker set, and the installation was not even that bad! Although, if you've got a brand new helmet i would recommend to wear it in a bit before you install these speakers because they do actually take a bit of space because otherwise it would be quite. The sound quality is so incredibly much better compared to lets say, apple headphones. All and all, a very worth purchase!

Huge improvement!
5/5

I had a regular Cardo Packtalk with the old speakers and I bought these a couple of weeks ago. Holy cow! Huge improvement over the old. A bit big though so they don't fit all helmets even if they have cutouts for speakers. I had to cut out a bit bigger hole and then I could fit them

great sound
5/5

I got the JBLs with the intent of getting better sound quality that what came stock with my Cardo Freecomm 2 unit. The quality difference at a standstill was noticeable but surprisingly not too significant, mostly slightly louder and clearer lows. Although they get the job done I am satisfied.
