Givi Pl4114

This rack arrived very well packaged. The beautiful finish was perfect and protected in shipment by a huge bubble wrap bag. All hardware was also well packaged. There are no instructions as such, just drawings identifying the components and where they go. I initially removed the wrong rubber frame plug and thought the racks were incorrect, but discovered another set further back. The expanding arbor that goes into the frame must be installed in the frame after the foam spacer and before you slide the rack into place over the passenger foot peg stud. It took me a while to figure a procedure for the one side, but the other only took a few minutes. I'm not using the cross brace at the rear for now, it's so strong, but may add it as it would only take a minute or two to install. Very nice racks and the black finish blends perfectly with the Kawasaki frame paint.

It's a solid rack, as most of thing manufactured by Givi, but I had some issues with fitting the rack - versys had an internal sidebags mounts and parts of these mounts are interfering when you're installing the rack. Also, make sure you don't overtorque the bolts - I managed to snap one of the bolts and had to buy a replacement at the local store
